WWKD Foundation’s mission is to assist the people of Haiti in creating a sustainable environment. This continues the work begun by Kelsey Foss, who gives us inspiration. Kelsey was passionate about helping the people of Haiti.
Haiti is the second most populous country in the Caribbean and yet it is the lowest on the Human Development Index in the Americas, as compiled by the United Nations. Over 50% of the population lives in extreme poverty, earning less than $2.00 a day.
Since founding WWKD in September 2018, it has grown in thanks to people just like you! It started with the goal of building one home for a family in Haiti. That year we built two. In the last 12 months, donations have enable WWKD to dig three new wells providing clean water to over 3,000 people, benevolent funds for food and medical supplies during the Covid-19 outbreak and wrapping up 2020 with the funds to sponsor the malnutrition program at Danita’s Children, where health is restored and families are empowered through quality medical care and preventative education! Every donation and every project helps hold the hope that we are building a foundation that will live on forever to honor Kelsey.
Please consider making a donation to join us in this fight!
There are no paid positions at WWKD. It is all volunteer workers, so funds go directly to the people of Haiti. WWKD is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and all donations are tax deductible to the full extent of the law.
