WWKD
(What Would Kelsey Do?)
WWKD: Exists to help the people of Haiti, one of the poorest countries in the world. Over 50% of the population of this island nation live in extreme poverty. They subsist on less than $2.00 a day.
WWKD: Helps the people of Haiti create a sustainable environment by providing housing, food, education and medical aid for families in impoverished Haiti.
WWKD works:
- to provide jobs in the field of constructing home from earth-based bricks created in Haiti;
- to provide sustainable gardens for food and provide cows, goats and chickens for on-going food sources;
- to educate children and adults in basic hygiene, set up primary school programs through local orphanages, establish secondary and trade schooling assistance, and develop senior homes for the elderly for basic health care.
- to sponsor, host and develop local medical clinics for those in need in Haiti using US based volunteer medical professionals, including but not limited to, general practice and specialty doctors, nurses, dentists and other health care professionals.
- We are a Washington State not for profit corporation with a 501(c)3.
