Board of Directors

Lisa Shaffer

Lisa Shaffer

(President)

I live in sunny Gilbert, AZ and am married to Brian. We have 5 kids, Alex, Morgan, Madison, Mackenzie and Emily who range in ages from 26 – 20. In my free time I enjoy hiking, swimming and just enjoying time with friends. I work full time as a technical analyst in research and development at State Farm and have been with the company for almost 20 years. I am involved in the foundation because I am passionate about keeping my sister’s legacy alive and want to ensure the gifts I have been given (that’s what I call them) are shared to accomplish this. Please feel free to reach out to me, or any of the members of the Board of Directors, with questions/comments and if you would like to know more about ways to get involved we would love the support! #wwkd

(Treasurer & Chairperson for Finance Committee)

Hi there! Just a little info about me!
I’m a stay at home mom with not enough hours in the day! I’m married to my patient husband Nick and have two wonderful girls, Addison and Bristol. I also homeschool my girls and in our free time we love to travel!
I volunteer with the WWKD foundation and it’s my pleasure to serve with this amazing foundation in honor of my sister. Many great things to come with the works of WWKD and we hope to touch as many people as possible.

(External Relations Committee)

I am from Puyallup, WA. I am a Mom to four amazing kids! Kylee (21), Isaiah (14), Aliya (12), and Lexci (9). I work full time for Cardinal Health as an Inventory Analyst and we spend a lot of our spare time on baseball fields (we have 2 1⁄2 months off a year). Being a part of this foundation is important to me for many reasons. Kelsey and I are 15 months apart and she was my best friend (we never had the sibling arguments, we were just always best friends). Kelsey loved Haiti and talked about it with such passion and love! I knew it was something I wanted to do after her she came home the first time. When Annabelle said that it was what she wanted to do for her Senior trip, Kelsey started planting the seed for me to be able to attend too and we were both really looking forward to it. This foundation is important to me because it carries on the love she had and I feel it’s still her bringing people together and closer to Christ. #wwkd
One of Kelsey’s favorites:
“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.” – Colossians 3:23-24

(Secretary / Chairperson Development Committee)

I’m Kim Rodgers, mother of six amazing adults, grandmother to 17, co-owner of Your Travel Experts and most importantly, I was fortunate enough to be Kelsey’s mother. She was my daughter, my friend, my confidant. Someone I laughed with, hugged on, cried with, prayed with and over. She taught me love…so much love. And I can’t begin to ever express how much I miss her. Her smile…and that laugh! As I write through tears I know that she would not want us moping around. That was not her way. And so, we built a foundation. We are building houses. We are going to make Haiti sustainable. We will take each step and make each thing happen as it should. She will walk beside us, because ultimately, this is what she would do. Welcome to WWKD! We are so happy you joined us!
